When I first started getting on the internet a lot around 4 to 5 years ago, I always wanted to make a website. I even started making websites. A lot of them. (Mainly because of the fact I have a problem where I have to start over all the time.) All of them were free. Geocities, freewebs, and ect. I also had one where someone with their own website hosted me. That ended not long after I finally got the website since the site that was hosting me got shut down. The websites were either websites like this one, anime sites, and I had a doll site as well. None of them worked out very well. (Especially 'cause my interest in making websites kept going on and off.)
I bugged my mom for the past couple of years to buy me a website. I always got the same answer. "We'll see." I tried my best to find a good, but cheap hosting company. Even when I found one and whatnot, I never was able to convince her to actually buy one. In December of 2007, I was finally able to convince her. I came across a hosting company who was having a Holiday special. $60 some to start and then just $5 a month! I figured that was pretty cheap. So she bought it for me as a Christmas gift and here's my website! I'm quite pleased with my host. There has been those times where it wouldn't load, but all sites can be like that. It passes after a few minutes.
Lume di Luna is basically a personal website, blog, listing directory, and hopefully a gallery as well for anime pictures I take screenshots of. Nothing really all that huge. I'm not great at graphics... (At least not ones people would actually like to use, but hey... maybe in the future.) I have plenty of space, I know that. I have considered hosting people for free (http://yoursite.lume-di-luna.net) but I really couldn't figure out what I had to. So therefore the only person I can host is my boyfriend.
